Multi channel Partial Discharge Detector
PD Detector is specifically designed complying all IEC60270 requirements to test any rating of transformers. This allows testing of both oil filled and dry type transformers and is available in two configurations; 3 channel or 6 channel which can be selected depending whether PD test is required only on primary or secondary winding or both. This allows simultaneous testing of all windings in real time.
PD Test being very sensitive test requires controlled environment in terms of high frequency noise which can be achieved with the following:
- HV Filter of suitable rating to suppress high frequency noise in mains.
- Specially designed isolated earthing network helps in suppressing high frequency noise in earthing network.
- RF Shielded Room especially for dry type transformers to suppress high frequency noise in Air.
