Role
We are looking for a savvy Electronics R&D Engineer to support our existing team with product development. A successful candidate will be able to develop a comprehensive knowledge of our product portfolio & production process, & collaborate with a team of skilled hardware & software engineers.
Job Description
- Software Design: Hands-on experience with electronic hardware/analog and digital circuits/power devices like IGBT/embedded software design
- Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, & select suppliers based on material quality, cost, & reliability. Build & maintain long lasting relationships with key suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain.
- Purchase Order Management: Generate & manage purchase orders as per production requirements. Monitor & track all orders to ensure timely deliveries. Resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and technological advancements in the electrical manufacturing sector.
Qualifications & Other Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management
- In depth knowledge about sheet metal & tooling
- Experience in supply chain & procurement within the Electrical Manufacturing Indsutry
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with import, international, domestic, & other relevant regulations on electrical, electronic & mechanical components
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP, Tally, & other procurement softwares
- Knowledge of electrical components & high voltage equipment along with their manufacturing processes
