Portable Capacitance & Tan Delta Set

Portable Capacitance & Tan-δ measuring test system with built-in 12 kV power supply and 12 kV standard capacitor is designed for measurement of very low dielectric losses and impedances (Dissipation factor and Power factor) of high voltage equipment, liquid and solid insulation in noisy environment of charged switch-yards. The instrument works on the principle of a combined bridge-vector meter and is capable of analyzing capacitive and inductive loads. It eliminates the ambient noise by varying the output frequency and extrapolating the same to fundamental frequency.
